Home Schooling

This is a cross stitch stamped design 9 x 12 with a larger cross stitch printed on Natural European linen depicting a young student following her teacher in stitching instructions of a new sampler. Young girls of that era were expected to know the finery of that time. Stitching samplers was considered a part of the learning experience. As a reminder of school time the alphabet surrounds the pupil and teacher as a border and the numbers listed below are to instill in the student that Math,along with Reading is important too. This is Home Schooling in a different era.
